Fiscal Sponsorship Program
Helping Community Ideas Become Community Impact
Turn Your Vision into Action
Do you have a project that serves the community but don't have a nonprofit organization to receive grants or charitable donations?
Fourth Plain Forward's Fiscal Sponsorship Program helps mission-aligned individuals, groups, and emerging organizations access the charitable infrastructure they need to launch and grow community-focused initiatives.
What is Fiscal Sponsorship?
Fiscal sponsorship is a partnership between an established 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a community project. Through this relationship, sponsored projects can access charitable funding, offer supporters a tax-deduction for their donations, and build organizational capacity without creating a new nonprofit.
Fiscal sponsorship can reduce administrative barriers, strengthen community initiatives, and help promising ideas move from concept to impact.
Model C
Pre-Approved Grant Relationship
8% Administrative Fee
Designed for projects seeking funding through a specific grant opportunity. Fourth Plain Forward serves as the fiscal sponsor for the approved grant, providing financial administration and grant compliance while allowing project leaders to focus on delivering their work.
Model A
Comprehensive Fiscal Sponsorship
10% Administrative Fee
Designed for projects seeking an ongoing fiscal sponsorship relationship. Fourth Plain Forward provides comprehensive administrative, financial, and compliance support, allowing sponsored projects to operate under Fourth Plain Forward's charitable umbrella while building long-term capacity and community impact.
Why Fourth Plain Forward?
Fourth Plain Forward is committed to strengthening community-led initiatives across Clark County by expanding access to charitable infrastructure, reducing barriers to funding, and supporting projects that create lasting community benefit.
Whether you're launching a new initiative, testing an innovative idea, or growing an existing community project, we're here to help you navigate the path from vision to implementation.
Applying for an Inspire Vancouver Grant?
If you have an arts, culture, or heritage project but don't have—or don't want to establish—your own 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Fourth Plain Forward may be able to serve as your fiscal sponsor.
